20 Year Old Dressing Room Cases After 30 years experience I can assure you if you go backstage at any concert you will find a hive of activity and a temporary maze of endless production offices, dressing rooms and catering facilities, usually a video editing suite for the out front screens, not to mention a zillion technicians and riggers tool cases, and that's before the BBC film crew turn up to beam it round the world! Controlled mayhem at it's best.

As any artist will tell you their main job in life is to wait, wait for sound checks, wait for interviews, wait for showtime, standby to wait - endless waiting around backstage. To help them wait, 3D cases are often asked to design flight cases for all manor of 'toys' to keep them amused, table tennis table cases, games consoles cases, pool table cases, football table cases and even the odd fruit machine cases as well as the wardrobe cases.

By far the most popular area backstage is catering - a small collection of tour catering companies manage to provide stunning meals out of a flight case three times a day - all fresh and home made except for the baked beans. This requires dozens of fridge cases, cooker cases and even the odd microwave and fryer cases as shown here.

Production offices - Who needs them? Well apparently everyone from the band to the promoters, from the accountants to security and of course the production team themselves.

In these cells of activity you will find 3D designs for printer cases, computer cases, laminator cases, filing cabinet cases and of course the fresh coffee jug case.

The most common cases found scattered around backstage and in the wings outside the equipment flight cases themselves are the technicians tool cases. Guitar tech cases, keyboard tech cases, riggers tool cases - well just about every one has a tool flight case.

While we have proven standard designs usually these custom built cases are designed by the customer and built to their specification, so designs vary greatly in shape and size depending on their intended use. Those who use them normally know best! :-)
