19" Rack Bag

19" Padded Rack Bag

- Heavy Duty Shock Mounted Padded Rack Bags

19" Rack Bag BEST PRICED HIGH QUALITY PADDED 19" RACK BAGS.

The use of film in gathering news virtually disappeared at the end of the 1980s when Electronic News Gathering (ENG) became available allowing a lone broadcast journalist reporter to take a single professional video camera out to shoot a news story,  and with the aid of SNG (Satellite News Gathering) broadcast live via satellite from anywhere in the world.

Nowadays rapidly sending professional ENG crews, often by air to a story is all part of the news gathering industry.

The 3D Cases Fly-Away Rack is designed with airline luggage weights in mind, keeping the rack weight down so more ENG/SNG equipment can be taken, whilst having the strength to survive even ‘The Heathrow Baggage Handlers’, reputably the meanest crew in the world. Just Kidding Guys

3d Flight Cases - Rack Bag Fly-Away racks are constructed from a light weight and non-crushable 10 mm polypropylene honeycomb panel which is stitched into a padded carrying bag. The bag itself is made from an abrasion and weather resistant double sided 610 denier woven nylon cloth sandwiching 5mm high density foam which offers a smart finish with excellent wear and tear properties.

Within this, to protect against shock and vibration a welded 19” rack frame is shock mounted on eight cylindrical elastomeric anti-vibration mounts, set at a 45° angle to offer optimum shock resistance during handling and transit conditions, regardless of orientation. We also offer an upgrade from the polypropylene panel to a aluminium honeycomb with woven glass fibre mat faced panels to cope with the heaviest of loads. Available from 2 units upwards the Fly-Away Rack is available in any depth required and as standard we include extra positions to mount eight extra shock mounts for heavier applications.

3D Flight Cases 19" Fly-Away Rack Bag All Fly-Away racks come as standard with double zipped opening front and rear panels,  providing  good dust and splash protection and hinge fully open to allow free flow. This twin lid facility allows the equipment to remain in the Fly-Away case so it can be configured and be operational within seconds.

Optional extras such as accessory pockets, shoulder strap, transparent label holders can be catered for along with edge wheels and telescopic handle. Many colours are available along with various camouflage finishes. Silk screening with company logo’s etc are also catered for.

Fly-Away Racks are also available with standard non- shock mounted 19” chassis.

Designed to your exact specification.

Call us today to discuss the full options and designs of our 19" padded rack bags and equipmet covers. We can work from CAD drawings, sketches on the back of a fag packet, descriptions or from the items themselves requiring protection. All our padded rack bags are hand made in the UK.

Custom Foam Inserts
Custom Foam Inserts
Custom foam inserts can be designed and manufactured for any of our cases or padded bags.

Products of even the most complex shapes can be accurately measured and then programmed into our CAD system which 'nests' or arranges the items in to a 'best fit' plan. Once the drawing is approved by our customer we then feed that data in to a CNC cutting machine which automatically machines the foam inserts with consistent precision.
